Scientists from Hamburg-Harburg Technical University in Germany have used LEGO® to show how a freak wave on an otherwise calm sea can sink a ship.
Amin Chabchoub and his team used a wave machine to generate a series of small waves and then observed the effect that a giant rogue wave has during the evolution. Take a look at the video below to see the results:
This is another great example to show how LEGO can be used to explain complex concepts.
