New LEGO® Education concepts launched

Two new concepts from LEGO® Education have been launched at events held in Windsor and Manchester. LEGO Education BuildToExpress and LEGO Education Academy were celebrated at the events held simultaneously last week.

Teachers and educationalists from as far afield as Ireland attended the events which gave them the opportunity to gain hands-on experience of our BuildToExpress and Simple Machines product ranges and to learn more about how the Academy can add value in their school.

The keynote speech in Windsor was delivered by Ty Golding (Head Teacher of Barry Island Primary School) who talked about how his school has developed over the last five years and how they have engaged with the community and local businesses to support this growth.

John Pinkney from Warwickshire Local Authority gave his insight into LEGO within education and how it has impacted teaching across the county in which he advises schools.

Both events also offered teachers the opportunity to network and share ideas in two great settings – LEGOLAND Windsor Resort and LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Manchester.

Take a look at more photos from the launch event in Manchester.
