This fantastic stage set was designed and built by a pupil from Tarporley Primary School:
“Our new topic in school is ABBA and we discussed as a class what we wanted to do. I decided to build a LEGO stage for ABBA in concert. I got my ideas from my head and used my knowledge of building with LEGO to make the stage, the lighting, the drumkit, the guitar, the keyboard and the microphone.
“I had a few problems – I tried to make a curtain but I couldn’t think how. It would be great if I could design a curtain that when you pushed a button it would open, lights would come on and flash and the music would start playing. Unfortunately I don’t have the flashing lights so I couldn’t do it.
“I am very proud of my model. My favourite part is the drumkit beacuse it is made out of Harry Potter LEGO and I also like the guitar. I hope you like it too.”
Some LEGO® Education goodies are on the way to Tarporley Primary School. If you have examples of how you have used LEGO bricks in your classroom, send us an photo and we’ll include the best ones here on the blog.

Very cool idea!!!
